What do you wish for this Christmas…?
2021 has been another challenging year and many of us have faced concerns for ourselves, our loved ones, and the community. We hope that at Van Hage, we have contributed to making life a little easier for our customers by providing essential services and products consistently throughout these difficult times.
So now is the time to look forward.
Unlike last Christmas, we are now able to enjoy the festivities to their fullest and there are fewer things more wonderful than a Christmas spent with our friends and family. Gathering together to share, laugh, love and reminisce is when the ‘real’ magic happens. The build-up and traditions of Christmas are almost as good as the special day itself; shopping for gifts and then wrapping them, visiting Santa, Nativities, Carol Singing, decorating our homes, preparing all the delicious food – the list goes on and on.

Of course, if you are able to visit one of our stores, our ranges are much wider and you can also soak up the amazing Christmas atmosphere. With our stunning Christmas displays, Carousel, singing Reindeer (both at Great Amwell only) and well-stocked departments both inside and out, you are bound to feel festive.
You can still book to visit Santa in his Grotto to tell him if you have been naughty or nice at our Peterborough store and at our Chenies store you can book to have Breakfast or Tea with Santa – so exciting!
Our amazing new artisan Food Hall at Great Amwell has been received so well by our customers. A brand-new feature for 2021 where we have been honoured to give local producers a platform to sell their products. Choose something truly special for your Christmas table and support local, small businesses.
Why not complete your visit by eating in one of our fabulous Cafés? Our menus are packed with delicious hot and cold meals, snacks, cakes, sandwiches, and drinks.
