We are delighted to announce that television gardener and best-selling author, Alan Titchmarsh will be visiting our Peterborough store for a book signing on Thursday 15th April from 12.30pm.
Alan sprung to fame as the host of BBC One's 'Ground Force' in 1997, travelling far and wide with fellow presenters Charlie Dimmock and Tommy Walsh to tranform the gardens of lucky families across the country.
Since 1983, Alan has also presented coverage of the annual Chelsea Flower Show for the BBC, as well as other popular shows including; Songs of Praise, Breakfast Time, British Isles - A Natural History and 20th Century Roadshow.
Currently, Alan is the host of his own daily chatshow on ITV, 'The Alan Titchmarsh Show', providing the British public with a celebration of all the country has to offer from well-known celebrities to unsung heroes.
Off-screen, Alan has written around 40 gardening books in addition to two autobiographies and numerous novels, and even fins time to present his own show on BBC Radio 2.
In his new 'How to Garden' books, Alan imparts a lifetime of expertise in definitive, practical guides for both beginners and experienced gardeners alike.
